Natasha C. Miller is the founder of the Pianist Academy, a classical pianist, International Online Piano Teacher with a colorful musical background performing across various cities in Russia and the United States, in addition to traveling while performing as a concert choir announcer with the State Academic Northern Russian Folk Choir. Her award-winning students have received numerous first place recognitions in local piano festivals and competitions at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, The University of New Orleans, and Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport.
Natasha has performed with the Broadmoor Baptist Church Orchestra during worship services, broadcast on the local television channel, and at Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, LA.
She was the Piano Preparatory Director at Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport for 10 years. She also taught music classes at Providence Classical Academy in Bossier City and is currently teaching students online across the United States as well as her Private Studio in Bossier City and Shreveport.
Natasha’s Awards
The President’s Award for Best Performer of the Year in a competition at Stephen F. Austin University in Texas.
Best Composition of the Year in a piano composition competition in Arkhangelsk, Russia.

Natasha’s education
Classically trained in Russia, Natasha has a unique teaching style. Her collaborative approach based on European, Russian and Western techniques brings progress and satisfaction, building each student’s confidence in their own abilities until they can walk into their first recital and realize how far they’ve come.
Natasha received her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Pedagogy, Piano Performance and Music Education from Arkhangelsk Pedagogical College in Russia, and studied piano pedagogy and piano performance and music theory at Centenary College of Louisiana and Stephen F. Austin University in United States.
Natasha’s Professional Development
She is an active member of the Louisiana Music Teachers Association and Greater Shreveport Music Teachers Association. Natasha is continuing her professional development and she is an active member of LMTA, MTNA and TMO Teach Music Online global community. She is a born-again Christian and loves sharing her musical talent occasionally when she has time, performing at local churches.
